Stephanie & Rich had been dreaming about a larger home for many years. They wanted more living space for their family. Stephanie also wanted to maintain a “classic” look that blended a new second story addition with the design of their existing home. Many homes in their neighborhood had already been “popped” so they had heard quite a few contractor horror stories by the time they contacted H & H Builders. They selected H & H Builders because of our ability to deliver a great design along with a professional remodeling process that held to their budget and schedule. We also made it possible for them to live in their home while we built the new second story.

We added a master bedroom suite, with gorgeous west facing windows that take advantage of both mountain and city views. Stephanie and Rich finally got themselves a large, modern, master bath with a large, bright walk-in shower. Two bedrooms were added for their son and daughter. We also built a new bathroom for the children. Both bathrooms use creative combinations of colors and materials that are visually striking yet have a warm and comfortable feel for the family. Take a look at the slate tile accent wall in the master bedroom.

Another especially nice feature is the new, yet traditional, stairway featuring deeply stained oak treads, risers & handrail combined with black iron balusters. The new stairway takes advantage of a new entry that was opened up to the living room. This makes a person feel very welcome when they come through the front door.
