This is a beautiful whole house remodel in University Hills, Denver, with a pop up home addition above an existing garage. Our client contacted us because two previous additions at the north side of their home were so poorly built (by the previous owners) that they had been condemned by the building department. The south side of their home had been remodeled the previous year, just after our clients moved into their house. The workmanship was okay, but the two remodeling contractors they used for the work treated the homeowners very poorly. At this point, her neighbor gave H & H Builders a glowing referral. H & H Builders had remodeled their neighbor’s home several years previously.
H & H tore down the existing north half of the house and in its place built a beautiful two story addition. There is now a gleaming metal and wood stairway leading up from the new den to a new upstairs playroom. With windows facing both east and west the playroom is brightly lit and provides a somewhat private space for the children.
A new guest bedroom with adjoining bathroom was built next to the new dining room. At the time we finished the project our clients were thinking about making the new guest bedroom into their master bedroom, because they liked it so much. We also removed all of the existing siding and replaced it with nice new stucco. We finished the primary project and moved our clients into their new Denver home addition two months ahead of schedule in September of 2007. We came back two years later to do some additional work for them in 2009.
