2013 C.A.R.E. Award Winner

Our clients had inherited this Lakewood house near Denver, CO, from Pat’s parents, but the house was too small, outdated and not laid out in a fashion that they liked. Pat & Dean wanted to have a comfortable retirement in a home that suited their current and future needs.This meant that we needed to give Pat a brand new kitchen with many more cabinets and an open layout. Dean wanted a large two car attached garage (in addition to the already existing single car garage. Both of our clients wanted new bathrooms, a large open living room with a fireplace, more closet space and nicer and larger master bedroom. This remodeling project will incorporate many features such as wide doorways, bright lighting, curbless shower etc. that will make it possible for Pat & Dean to stay in their house for a long time.After the final design was finished by H & H Builders, this project was started in mid-July 2013. It is currently under construction. The series of photos are taken from the adjacent street. They show the new garage and living room addition under construction at the back of the existing home.
